Octomore Series 17 – The Impossible Equation

 

Be among the first in Australia to taste Octomore Series 17, the latest chapter in Bruichladdich’s exploration of super heavily peated Islay whisky.

 

Hosted by Bruichladdich Australian Brand Ambassador Max Borrowman, this masterclass will take guests through three expressions from Series 17, exploring how barley, cask and provenance can create distinctly different whiskies within the Octomore philosophy.

 

Beginning with 17.1 as the reference point, the tasting moves through the different cask influence of 17.2 before arriving at 17.3, produced using barley grown on Octomore Farm on Islay.

 

And because three Octomores simply isn’t enough, Max will finish the masterclass with a bonus Bruichladdich dram yet to be released.
