WHISKY ABBEY ’26: DESTINATIONS

Whisky Abbey sets itself apart from other whisky shows in Australia by creating an experience similar to a farmers’ market, where attendees can meet the producers, buy directly from them, and take bottles home.

Attendees can purchase 15ml nips of whiskies for a very affordable price and even taste some rare whisky releases that are long gone from shop shelves and distillery doors. Top Australian bars also exhibit, showcasing special bottles that can be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to try.

The festival includes an outdoor whisky beer garden where attendees can relax and enjoy food and music. Whisky Abbey is an all-day event, allowing ample time to explore the exhibitors. Masterclasses take place across the festival with international and local producers showcasing four drams across an hour-long session, presenting their take on what “Whisky Spectacular” means to them.
